Book Review

Writing a book reviewing is no easy task by no means, because by taking bit & bits of a well articulated thematic message, one can only mess things up; an attempt to consolidate hundreds of pages into few words, it is definitely risking to offend the author by either misinterpreting the message or completely misunderstanding the message…
Then what is the point of writing a review pertaining to what one has read? Couple simple points,
  • To be able to share one’s interpretation of others words and messages, an attempt to penetrate & understand into the way others process information
  • To engage/share with others why the book's message should be discussed either individually or collectively.
  • To keep oneself a reminder or a short note for the future, to help retain the lessons learned fresh and intact by revisiting those moving and enlightening moments
  • To have a venue where others can kindly share their own reviews or recommendations
  • And perhaps if by a chance my review becomes the catalyst for someone to read any book...I would have succeeded.

In the process, it simply would help me to read faster, write better, retain more, analyze, understand and explain what i read; thereby it is a desire to know more tomorrow than i do today and continue to be a Lifelong Student. After all, if you do not put what you read and what you learned into action, there is no point neither for writers nor for readers to engage in such a time and energy consuming work.
